Piedmont Park is not just for weddings!  Take a look at some of the other events we’ve done.  From corporate fun days to family gatherings, there is always a venue to fit your needs.

Why did you choose Dockside for the Birthday Party?
First the picturesque setting next to the lake, second the fact that we had both indoor and outdoor areas to host the party. The indoor/outdoor areas allowed us to have several levels of entertainment for the party.

What was your favorite memory of having the party in Piedmont Park?
It was such a beautiful day! It was nice to see the adults relaxing on the veranda as they watched the kids play below on the dock area.

What activities did you have for the kids?
We had Bubble Man - which the kids LOVED as they chased and made giant bubbles. There was a magician who also entertained the kids with balloon art. We had a castle bouncer on the dock. And we had a special kids tent where they were able to do crafts and eat lunch. For the adults we had a Nintendo Wii station and caricature artist. Also as a special treat for kids of all ages we had a candy buffet and gelato cart.

Would you recommend the venue to others? Why?
Yes. The Piedmont Park staff was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The park is such a unique venue - to be in the middle of Midtown Atlanta with a lush park setting is just priceless!
