Piedmont Park Conservancy is excited to offer a summer full of EnviroVentures for your children! EnviroVentures Summer Camp includes a variety of programs and activities focusing on experiential learning through active and educational programs. Each session features daily swimming in our new Piedmont Park Aquatic Center, outdoor sports and recreation, organic gardening, Wheels Fridays, arts and crafts, park stewardship, special programs and much, much more!

EnviroVentures Summer Camp 2009 is being offered to rising first graders through rising sixth graders, May 26th through August 7th (with a break for the week of July 4th).

Swimming Lessons
You can add swim lessons to your camper's schedule. Lessons will be conducted in 30 minute increments Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am. Your child will be placed in a class during one of the following times; 9:00-9:30am, 9:40-10:10am, or 10:20-10:50am. Each class will meet four times per week for 2 weeks, for a total of eight classes. And with no more than 6 students in each class, your child is guaranteed the attention that he/she needs.

We are pleased to offer Piedmont Park Aquatics Members and Piedmont Park Summer Campers a 50% registration discount! We are also pleased to announce a $5 multiple child registration discount.

5/26-5/29 Ecology Explore the different relationships present in the natural world through games, labs and active play.
6/1-6/5 Archaeology Do you dig it? Learn about human history with archaeology techniques. Dig, analyze and have fun with the past!
6/8-6/12 Forest Who calls the forest home? Explore our urban forest and learn about the many habitats and residents that live here.
6/15-6/19 Recycle Learn all about recycling! From the animal kingdom to things you can do to reduce your carbon footprint.
6/22-6/26 Past, Present and Future Discover how the park and Atlanta have changed across their common history and peer into the future to make your best guess about what’s to come.
6/29-7/3 No Camp in honor of 4th of July Holiday
7/6-7/10 Garden Get your hands dirty and make friends with some worms. Experience all aspects of a garden through planting and harvesting.
7/13-7/17 Water Explore the wonderful world of water! Water cycles, water creatures and water labs will make this week a splash!
7/20-7/24 Active Adventures Experience a week of fun physical activity. Field day, swimming, tennis, soccer and much more.
7/27-7/31 Garden to Belly From planting to harvesting and finally eating- Discover the path that food takes to get to your plate.
8/3-8/7 Bugs Learn all about your favorite arthropods! Get up close and personal with insects and insect relatives.
