Historic Park Tours are held the first and third Saturday of the month. Learn about the history of Piedmont Park and get a little exercise, by joining for a guided walking tour of Piedmont Park.

The tour lasts 60-90 minutes and covers all phases of the park’s development - forest, the Walker farm, fairgrounds for the Piedmont Exposition of 1887, the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895, the transformation of the fairgrounds into a suburban park, and the current status of Piedmont Park as Atlanta’s premier urban park. The tour uses the voices of the past and pictures to bring history to life.
