SUMMARY:Homeschool Days-Animal Kingdom Hearts
DESCRIPTION:Once a month\, the Conservancy will host a themed “Homeschool Day” where homeschool students\, distance learning students\, and any other interested students grades K-5 can come to Piedmont Park for a field trip. The programs are interactive\, STEAM-based activities that get kids excited about learning. \nWe welcome all homeschool students and distance learning students in grades K-5 to join us in the Park on Tuesday\, February 14th for this exciting Homeschool Day! Which animal has the biggest heart? Which animal’s heart beats the fastest? How are hearts across the animal kingdom similar and different to ours? Come discover the answers to these questions and more in our interactive Valentine’s Day Homeschool Day! Join us on a safari scavenger hunt as we compare and contrast different animal hearts and build models of our favorite animal’s hearts. \nProgram cost is $10 per student. Payment is due at check-in. Card payment preferred\, cash or check accepted as alternative. Card payment accepted with 3% transaction fee. \nPicnic areas in the Park are available on a first-come first serve basis; bring sack lunches to enjoy before or after your program. \n10:00am– Check in begins\n10:30am– Program begins

DESCRIPTION:Officiated by Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens\, Marry We will include a mass elopement followed by a wedding reception for all newly hitched couples. \nThe “Mary We” mass wedding ceremony is hosted by Southern Hospitality Event Group. Couples can sign up online and pay $1\,000 to participate in the ceremony on Valentine’s Day. Couples are also invited to renew their wedding vows. \nThe ceremony will be at Greystone at Piedmont Park followed by an indoor reception\, catered by Dennis Dean Catering. The reception includes dinner\, dessert and an open bar. There will also be music until the vent wraps up at 9 p.m. \nThe package includes a marriage license signed by Dickens\, portraits and a wedding gift. \nThe wedding and reception will happen regardless of the forecast\, but details could change if the weather causes “major issues.” \n​https://www.marryweevents.com/
