Be prepared for for a circuit-training\, total-body class for the first 30 minutes of class (wear tennis shoes). I’ll bring the motivation and music. Walk with us and discover how Piedmont Park’s rich history is undeniably intertwined with the development of Atlanta. Together\, we’ll explore the fascinating historical and physical evolution of iconic Piedmont Park from forest to farm to fairgrounds for the Piedmont Exposition of 1887 and the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895\, to Atlanta’s premier urban greenspace. \n\nLed by docent volunteers\nFree and open to all ages\nPlease wear appropriate clothing for the weather as the tour is outside and involves walking\n10 am; 60 – 90 minutes in length\nMeet at Green Market and Conservancy information table located at 12th St. and Piedmont Ave. NE Park entrance\n\nPlease register here.
