DESCRIPTION:Join the Conservancy and fellow park fans for a weekly group walk in Piedmont Park! \nEvery Tuesday\, we host a 45-minute walk on Tuesdays at 10am. Each walk will feature different popular paths while answering any questions you may have about Piedmont Park or the Conservancy. \nFor questions\, please contact Hannah Franklin at programs@piedmontpark.org. \nMeet in front of Dockside near the 12th gate entrance\, five minutes prior to departure. Walk up\, no RSVP required.

DESCRIPTION:Grab a friend and join us in our Community Garden to see how your garden herbs can be incorporated in your cocktails or non-alcoholic beverages! Our focus will change with the seasons. Class instruction will be one hour long\, with time for participants to socialize in our Community Garden afterwards. Guests will be provided with samples + recipe cards. All materials provided. \n8 registrants minimum needed to run program. DESCRIPTION:Saturdays\, March – December | 10 am; 60 – 90 mins | Free \nThe Piedmont Park History Walking Tours include an introduction to the park’s vibrant past and present. The tours are led by Piedmont Park Conservancy Docents. Join us and discover how Piedmont Park’s rich history is undeniably intertwined with the development of Atlanta. Together\, we’ll explore the fascinating historical and physical evolution of iconic Piedmont Park from forest to farm to fairgrounds for the Piedmont Exposition of 1887 and the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895\, to Atlanta’s premier urban green space. \nMeet in front of the Visitor center which is located near the 12th Street Entrance gate. \n*Registration closes at 12pm the day before the tour. Walk ups are welcome but space is not guaranteed.\nYou will receive an email reminder a few days before your scheduled tour. Any questions please send an email to volunteer@piedmontpark.org. Tours are scheduled rain or shine. If a tour is cancelled you will receive an email  notification.
