Together\, we’ll explore the fascinating historical and physical evolution of iconic Piedmont Park from forest to farm to fairgrounds for the Piedmont Exposition of 1887 and the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895\, to Atlanta’s premier urban green space. \nMeet in front of the Visitor center which is located near the 12th Street Entrance gate. \n*Registration closes at 12pm the day before the tour. DESCRIPTION:Flourish in Fall by learning a fresh perspective on painting flowers! Join us for this beginner workshop\, all materials provided. All you need to bring is your creative spirit! We begin by drawing our flowers upside down\, making it much easier to draw while offering a completely new way of seeing shapes. Next\, we’ll flip the canvas right side up and paint our flowers in shades of black and white to create a really cool\, fun painting! Your instructor\, Beth Blackwell Cullen\, has been painting and drawing for more than 10 years. She enjoys helping new artists develop their confidence using tried and true academic principles in exciting\, new ways.
