DESCRIPTION:*This event has been postponed due to weather. \nGuest Speaker: Jeff Galloway will be discussing his life as a former Olympian as well as running and walking tips. \nMeet Training Expert and Former Olympian\, Jeff Galloway \nJeff Galloway competed at the 1972 Olympic Games in the 10\,000-meter event. He also broke the U.S. 10-mile record in 1973. More importantly\, Jeff has coached over 1 million everyday people to reach their goals as runners\, walkers and competitors. His pursuit of an injury-free\, marathon-training program led him to design his Run Walk Run® method. \nJoin the Conservancy and fellow park fans for a weekly group walk in Piedmont Park! \nEvery Tuesday\, we host a 45-minute walk on Tuesdays at 10am. Each walk will feature different popular paths while answering any questions you may have about Piedmont Park or the Conservancy. \nFor questions\, please contact Hannah Franklin at programs@piedmontpark.org. \nMeet in front of Dockside near the 12th gate entrance\, five minutes prior to departure.
