The Green Market Returns March 28

Join us Saturdays from 9am–1pm beginning March 28, 2026.

For more than 20 years, the Green Market has connected Atlanta’s community with local farmers, producers, and artisans in the heart of Piedmont Park. Stroll through the market to discover fresh seasonal produce, locally made goods, and unique handmade items while supporting small businesses across Georgia.

The Green Market is more than a place to shop — it’s a chance to connect with neighbors, meet the people who grow your food, and enjoy one of Atlanta’s most beloved traditions in the Park.

The season runs Saturdays from 9am–1pm beginning the last weekend in March and continuing through the second weekend in December.

Green Market Information

The Green Market is open every Saturday from 9 am – 1 pm between March and December. Excludes Class A Festivals – please see our calendar to confirm dates.

Yes, the market remains operational and moves into the adjacent Community Center building in the event of rain.

Walking and Biking: 

The Eastside BeltLine trail makes it easy for walkers and bikers of all skills to access our local farmers market without parking a car! The trail connects neighborhoods such as Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown to Piedmont Park. Biking or walking from the Highlands, Morningside, Ansley and other in-town neighborhoods is a great and eco-friendly way to get your groceries.

Public Transportation:

There are two nearby Marta stations located on 10th Street (Midtown Station) and 15th Street (Arts Center Station).

Driving:

The GPS address for driving is 1071 Piedmont Ave Ne, Atlanta, GA 30309. However, please note that there is no parking directly at the market location. 

We recommend parking at the main Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Garden parking garage (1320 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, GA 30306). The rate is typically based on the amount of time you spend in the Park. Exit at the bottom level of the parking garage to access Piedmont Park. After entering Piedmont Park, there is a map ahead in the Welcome Plaza. Use the GPS address for walking directions if you have your phone. Otherwise, there are independent parking garages in Midtown. 

Furthermore, Piedmont Park is ADA compliant.

Yes! Dogs are welcome to come along with you to Green Market providing they remain on a leash and kept away from produce and vendor stands.

Green Market’s vendors accept both cash and credit card transactions.

We welcome passionate volunteers to help out our vendors and guests every Saturday. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up on Hands on Atlanta. 

Piedmont Park Conservancy is partnering with Wholesome Wave Georgia to offer Georgia Fresh For Less. Green Market will double EBT benefits for use on fresh fruits and vegetables!

2026 Applications for Green Market are accepted annually from December to February for the following season. There is a $40 non-refundable fee which must accompany the application for consideration. Staff will select vendors based on locality, products, availability, market space, category capacity, and appropriateness. If accepted, vendors must provide all necessary licenses and insurance. All vendors must re-apply annually and priority is given to returning vendors. Prospective vendors must review the Vendor Handbook prior to applying.
