Join Piedmont Park Conservancy as we host monthly Figure Drawing Sessions!
August 25: Get ready to elevate your yoga experience with Yoga in the Park, one of Atlanta’s most iconic and community-centered events!
Sept 8: Community Craft Night is a free monthly gathering where creativity and sustainability come together. Using recycled materials from Scraplanta, participants are invited to experiment with new craft ideas, continue personal projects, and connect with others while creating in the Park.
Sept 9: Join the Conservancy and fellow Park fans for a summer evening walk in Piedmont Park! This 45-minute walk will meet near the Visitor’s Center. Each stroll will feature different popular paths while answering questions you may have about Piedmont Park or the Conservancy.
Sept 12: Join local artist Heather Baker of @paperandpenny for a hands-on linocut workshop! Learn how to carve, ink, and press your own repeating pattern onto two bandanas—one for you and a friend, or one for you and your dog!
September 28 : Join us for a relaxed evening of games, conversation, and community connection at the Dockside Visitor Center. Play classics like Mah Jongg and Chess, or bring your own favorite game to share with others. All experience levels are welcome, and game sets will be provided.
September 29 : Explore a fresh perspective on painting flowers with artist Beth Blackwell Cullen! This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through drawing flowers upside down before flipping your canvas and painting your creation in shades of black and white. All materials are provided—just bring your creative spirit!
