About the Program
The Young Professionals for Piedmont Park (YPs) is a network of emerging civic and business leaders dedicated to preserving and enhancing Atlanta’s most iconic green space.
As an affinity group of the Piedmont Park Conservancy, we unite young professionals who are passionate about community engagement, environmental stewardship, philanthropy, and leadership development. Through social, educational, and volunteer opportunities, YPs help ensure Piedmont Park remains a thriving, sustainable, and welcoming destination for all.
Program Focus Area
The YP program is built on four core pillars designed to foster connection, leadership, and measurable impact throughout the year:
- Engagement & Networking
YPs connect through exclusive events and partnerships that strengthen Atlanta’s professional community while building both personal and professional relationships.
- Volunteer Mobilization
Members give back through hands-on service projects that directly support Piedmont Park’s preservation and beautification.
- Leadership Development
YPs gain valuable experience through mentorship and opportunities to engage with the Conservancy’s leadership and Board.
- Fundraising & Impact
Members support the Park’s sustainability through collective giving, peer fundraising, and events that generate awareness and resources for the Conservancy.
Nonprofit Leadership Development Series
The Nonprofit Leadership Development Series is a cornerstone of the YP experience. Offered complimentary for 2026, this four-part series introduces participants to the fundamentals of philanthropy, volunteerism, governance, and advocacy.
