It takes over $3.5 million in donations to manage and maintain Piedmont Park every year- as a private partnership with the City of Atlanta, Piedmont Park Conservancy receives minimal revenue from tax dollars. We need your support to keep our Park clean, beautiful and active! Since 1989, the Keepers of Piedmont Park have helped the Conservancy raise more than $66 million to ensure that the Park remains the crown jewel of our city and a place for all.
Donors inspire life in the heart of Atlanta
The 200+ acres of green space, multitude of public programs and recreational facilities are too much for the Conservancy to support alone. City taxes provide a minimal amount of aid- but with nearly 6 million annual visitors- aren’t enough to fully support the activity that happens in the Park.
Before the Conservancy existed and before donor support, Piedmont Park was nearly loved to death. We work every day to enhance and preserve Piedmont Park as a vital, urban green space, and as a cultural and recreational resource that enriches the quality of life for all Atlantans.
