Providing over 200 acres of green space, Piedmont Park is open and available as a free resource to all Atlantans. Piedmont Park is open to the public daily from 6am-11pm. See below for the current status of Park attractions.

Conservancy Operations Continue: At this time, the Piedmont Park Conservancy staff and office is continuing to operate. Many of the staff members are working remotely, so please check with appropriate staff prior to stopping by the administrative office.

Park Alerts and Area Closures

  • Six Springs Wetlands Boardwalk: A section of the boardwalk is closed for repairs.
  • Willy’s Food Truck: temporarily closed starting Sunday, March 28.
  • Closed/Canceled due to COVID-19 until further notice:
    • Pool and Legacy Fountain Splash Pad – All City of Atlanta pools and splash pads are closed until further notice. Opening date TBD by the City of Atlanta.
    • Playgrounds – Opening TBD by the City of Atlanta
    • Outdoor Fitness Equipment – Opening date TBD by the City of Atlanta

The Piedmont Park Conservancy is closely monitoring the latest news and updates from the CDC and government officials in order to make the most informed decisions relating to our events and programs.

Fields will be open for use on May 15, 2021. The summer reservation release opens on Wednesday, April 7 at 9am.
