Join the Conservancy for monthly creative hours at the Park! Our doors are open to all at this free event designed to build community + create.

Join Piedmont Park Conservancy as we host monthly Figure Drawing Sessions!

June 18: Make memories and paint your beloved furry friends! Local artist Heather Baker of Paper and Penny Print Studio will prepare an 8×10 canvas with a sketch of your animal for you to paint in this fun workshop! 

First Sunday of each month | June – August: Find serenity at sunrise and join us for The Wave, a free monthly community gathering, dedicated to deep relaxation and connection. Led by Shelby Adina and brought to you by KHōNA Yoga, this immersive morning meditation and sound bath experience invites you to start your Sunday with intention, peace, and community.

July 8: Benefit Piedmont Park and enjoy creating at our Paint + Sip program! We’ll paint using our iconic Park as inspiration – and you’ll take home a one of a kind piece!

July 13: Use the power of the sun and early photography techniques to create a beautiful personalized pennant!

July 23: Spend time in the Park while creating something fun – all while making new friends! Learn to use linocut techniques as you carve, ink, and press your own designs.

August 6: Join us on Lake Clara Meer to learn the basics of freshwater fishing while making memories! We’ll focus on the proper technique, types of bait that can be used, and what type of fish you can catch.

 

Let’s learn to crochet! During this 2 hour long program participants will learn the basics to crocheting, leaving with confidence and a new skill in their back pocket.

  • Weekly Walking Club

    Walk with the Conservancy on Tuesdays at 10am, with rotating topics and guest hosts.

  • Figure Drawing

    Join Piedmont Park Conservancy as we host monthly Figure Drawing Sessions!

  • Fishing Class

    Join us on Lake Clara Meer to learn the basics of freshwater fishing while making memories!

  • Community Garden

    Eligibility: Open to members of any level of the Piedmont Park Conservancy, our Community Garden will start with 12 beds (depending on preferences, more than one person, group, or family can have a bed). Plots will be awarded based on a lottery system. A waitlist will be established when we create more beds. Starting next year, previous year gardeners will be given preference in the next year.

    Location: The Community Garden will be housed within the existing Education Garden, between the Meadow and the Dog Parks, under Park Drive Bridge.

    How to Apply: If you are interested in applying to be a gardener of our Community Garden, please join our waitlist, and you will be contacted as soon as a plot opens up.

    Join the Conservancy for a fun Fermentation and Mushroom Growing Workshop!

  • Green Market - Farmers Market

    Support local farmers and small businesses every Saturday. Featuring produce, meat, dairy, bakers, jams, preserves and artisan goods.

  • Guided History Tours

    Walk with us and discover how Piedmont Park’s rich history is undeniably intertwined with the development of Atlanta.

  • Little Free Library

    The Little Free Library is located conveniently near our Outdoor Education Area and Orchard, and outside of the Community Center. This charming literary hub encourages a delightful exchange of books. Just take a book and leave one for the next reader to enjoy.
