Introduce your child to the world of microscopy with this very special day of learning. We will review the function and parts of a microscope and practice using them to observe a variety of plant and animal cell slides. Students will also have the opportunity to build and examine their own plant cell slides made out of onion skin. We’ll finish by creating a mixed-media cell art project!
