Upcoming Camps

EnviroVentures Summer Camp at Piedmont Park provides a healthy and engaging activity schedule for campers ages 5-13.  EnviroVentures Camp is designed for campers ages 5-10.  Our Counselor in Training program is designed for campers ages 11-13.

Registration opens on January 6, 2025.  We offer an early registration discount of $20 per week of camp for those who register between January 6, 2025 and January 20, 2025.  Our camp fills quickly; to ensure your spot and take advantage of our early registration discount, be sure to register early!

Piedmont Park Conservancy is excited to offer a summer full of EnviroVentures for your children! EnviroVentures Summer Camp includes a variety of programs and activities focusing on experiential learning through active and educational programs.

EnviroVentures Summer Camp is offered to campers ages 5-10. Due to Georgia Department of Early Learning regulations we cannot accept any campers who will not be 5 years old before the program start date.

Each EnviroVentures Summer Camp session features outdoor sports and recreation, exploration of the Park’s wetlands and lake, Wheels Day Fridays (bring your bike or scooter!), arts and crafts, park stewardship, special programs and much more! During our EnviroVentures Summer Camp all campers participate in daily swimming at the Piedmont Park Pool.

2025 Weekly Themes

June 2-6: Aquatic Adventures
Dive into the wonderful world of water with us!  From oceans to lakes and streams, we’ll jump into learning about these bodies of water and the importance of water conservation.

June 9-13: Mammal Madness

This week is all about our furry friends that call Georgia home.  From bears to coyotes and raccoons, we will explore their habitats, learn what they eat and uncover their awesome adaptations.

June 16-20: Toads and Turtles

**4 DAY WEEK–NO CAMP ON THURSDAY, JUNE 19**

Slither into a week of learning all about reptiles and amphibians!  We will discover why they are slimy and scaly, what they eat and what types of habitats they need.

June 23-27: Pollinator Exploration

Buzz into a week full of pollinator exploration as we learn about how different animals pollinate and the plants that rely on them!

June 30-July 3: Raptor Investigators

**4 DAY WEEK–NO CAMP ON FRIDAY, JULY 4**

Soar into the Park with us this week to learn about owls, hawks, falcons and eagles!  From their talons to their feathers, we’ll investigate these birds and where they live in the Park.

 Predator Prowl

This week we will learn how animals stalk and camouflage in order to survive.  We will search for animals in the Park and study their survival strategies.

July 14-18:  Nocturnal Discovery

Learn all about bats, owls and other nighttime friends in this week full of nocturnal animals.  We’ll discover the adaptations that help them survive after dark!

July 21-25: Terrific Trees

This week is all about trees!  We’ll examine the trees in the Park and celebrate the terrific role they play in a forest ecosystem.

Camp in Session  9:00am-4:00pm

Pick Up               4:00pm-5:00pm

After Care           5:00pm-6:00pm *$75 fee required per week*

EnviroVentures Summer Camp: June 2 through July 25, 2025

** June 16-20 is a 4 day camp week. There will be NO camp on Thursday, June 19 due to the Juneteenth Holiday. June 30-July 3 is a 4 day week due to the 4th of July Holiday**

Regular Rates:$350/week per camper

**The weeks of June 16-20 and June 30-July 3 are 4 day weeks and are prorated to a cost of $280 per camper**

Counselor in Training Program

Our Counselor in Training program is a great option for those campers ages 11-13 that are interested in gaining work experience and serving as a leader for younger campers. The hours for the Counselor in Training program are the same as our regular camp hours.  There is a fee of $275 per week of camp for the Counselors in Training which covers a camp  t-shirt, training and regular supervision. The 4 day weeks of June 16-20 and June 30-July 3 have a prorated fees of $220. Interested in our Counselor in Training program?  Applications will be available in January 2025!

We are excited to offer a limited number of partial, half, and full scholarships this year for our EnviroVentures Camp and CIT programs. Please check back on January 6th for a link to our scholarship application.
