As we approach a classic Piedmont Park Summer, we are busier than ever. More than any other time of year, we are working especially hard to enhance and preserve our park as an urban greenspace and as a cultural and recreational resource that enriches life for all who visit, live, and work in Atlanta!
Give today and let’s see the difference we can make together!
Donors inspire life in the heart of Atlanta
The 200+ acres of green space, multitude of public programs and recreational facilities are too much for the Conservancy to support alone. City taxes provide a minimal amount of aid- but with nearly 6 million annual visitors- aren’t enough to fully support the activity that happens in the Park.
Before the Conservancy existed and before donor support, Piedmont Park was nearly loved to death. We work every day to enhance and preserve Piedmont Park as a vital, urban green space, and as a cultural and recreational resource that enriches the quality of life for all Atlantans.
Why your support is crucial
95% of the Park’s upkeep is funded by private dollars- from people like you. Donations fund tree and flower plantings to keep the Park beautiful, help mulch the off-leash dog parks and fund programming like our summer camp and local farmers market.
In 2021, we planted 63 trees, 9,450 flowers, and recycled 63,400 pounds of materials. All thanks to the help of donors who want to make sure their favorite park is a clean, beautiful, and thriving place.
“We understand that having this incredible Park takes a village. We love the ability to be able to join a group such as The Keepers, and know our funds will go directly to help maintain and beautify our incredible Park. – Charlotte Dixon
