We’ll spend the week of February 16-20 playing outside, participating in STEAM-focused activities, and learning about the plants and animals that call the Park home. This program is designed for students in grades K-5.

2025 Summer Camp

EnviroVentures Summer Camp at Piedmont Park provides a healthy and engaging activity schedule for campers ages 5-13.  EnviroVentures Camp is designed for campers ages 5-10.  Our Counselor in Training program is designed for campers ages 11-13.

Registration opens on January 5, 2026.  We offer an early registration discount of $20 per week of camp for those who register between January 5, 2026 and January 19, 2026.  Our camp fills quickly; to ensure your spot and take advantage of our early registration discount, be sure to register early!

LEARN. PLAY. EXPLORE.
Piedmont Park Conservancy is excited to offer a summer full of EnviroVentures for your children! EnviroVentures Summer Camp includes a variety of programs and activities focusing on experiential learning through active and educational programs.

EnviroVentures Summer Camp is offered to campers ages 5-10. Due to Georgia Department of Early Learning regulations we cannot accept any campers who will not be 5 years old before the program start date.

Each EnviroVentures Summer Camp session features outdoor sports and recreation, exploration of the Park, Wheels Day Fridays (bring your bike or scooter!), arts and crafts, park stewardship, special programs and much more! During our EnviroVentures Summer Camp all campers participate in daily swimming at the Piedmont Park Pool.

2026 Weekly Themes

June 1-5: Into the Wild
Kick off your summer with a week full of exploration in the park.  We will learn about the different habitats in the park and study the plants and animals that live here.

June 8-12: Mammal Madness

This week is all about our furry friends that call Georgia home.  From bears to coyotes and raccoons, discover their habitats, learn what they eat and uncover their awesome adaptations.

June 15-18: Mad Scientist

*4 DAY CAMP WEEK—NO CAMP ON FRIDAY, JUNE 19*

Get messy with us as we learn about the scientific method through awesome experiments.  This week will be full of hands on science discovery that shows us just how fun science can be!

June 22-June 26: Outstanding Oceans
Dive into a week of ocean exploration with us as we discover the animals that live in our oceans and the amazing ocean food web.  We will also learn what we can do to protect the oceans in our own communities.

June 29-July 3: Slime and Scales

Slither into a week of learning all about reptiles and amphibians!  We will discover why they are slimy and scaly, what they eat and what types of habitats they need.

July 6-10: Edible Explorations
Join us for a tasty week of camp as we explore the science of food! We will make solar ovens, learn about food webs, and explore the edible plants that we’ve planted in our education garden.

July 13-17: Nature Detectives
Explore the park with us to see what mysteries we can uncover. Join us as we work to solve some of nature’s mysteries.  We’ll use the scientific method to explain why things float, fly and change.

July 20-24: Birds and Bugs
This week we’ll be studying those that buzz and fly! Join us as we investigate bugs and birds throughout the park.  Learn how these two awesome groups of creatures play an important role in our ecosystem.

After Care           5:00pm-6:00pm *$75 fee required per week*

EnviroVentures Summer Camp: June 1 through July 24, 2026

** June 15-18 is a 4 day camp week. There will be NO camp on Friday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday.**

Regular Rates:$350/week per camper

**The week of June 15-18 is a 4 day week and is prorated to a cost of $280 per camper**

                      PPC Member Rates:Member pricing is available for Piedmont Park Conservancy Members at the Olmstead Circle ($1,000-$2,499) and the Clara Meer Circle ($2,500-$4,999) levels. Get information on becoming a Piedmont Park Conservancy Member.

Counselor in Training Program

Our Counselor in Training program is a great option for those campers ages 11-13 that are interested in gaining work experience and serving as a leader for younger campers. The hours for the Counselor in Training program are the same as our regular camp hours.  There is a fee of $275 per week of camp for the Counselors in Training which covers a camp  t-shirt, training and regular supervision. The 4 day week of June 15-18 has a prorated fee of $220. Interested in our Counselor in Training program?  Applications will be available in January 2026!

We are excited to offer a limited number of partial, half, and full scholarships this year for our EnviroVentures Camp and CIT programs. Please check back on January 5th for a link to our scholarship application.
