One of the great features of Piedmont Park is that it accessible from countless entry points. However, if you are unsure how to get to the park in general, these tips will aid you in getting here.

Walking/Biking

Piedmont Park is surrounded by Piedmont Avenue, Monroe Drive and 10th Street. Visitors can enter from multiple entry points such as the 12th or 14th Street gates off Piedmont Avenue, or the Charles Allen Gate off of 10th Street. A popular way to get to the park is the Atlanta Beltline which comes into the North end of the park near the Piedmont Commons, and into the South end at the intersection of 10th Street and Monroe Drive. 

Marta (Subway)

Two Marta stations are nearby: Midtown and Arts Center.

Upon exiting the Midtown Station, take 10th Street towards Peachtree Street and continue on 10th until you reach Piedmont Avenue. Turn left on Piedmont Avenue and walk two blocks to the 12th and 14th Street gates of Piedmont Park. (or you can continue walking on 10th Street and the park will soon be on your left side).

Exit the Arts Center Station heading south on West Peachtree street for one block. Head east (go left) on 14th Street for three blocks until you reach the 14th Street entrance to the Park.

Marta (Bus Routes)

Getting to Piedmont Park without a car is easier than ever! To make your trip more convenient, here are three MARTA bus routes that stop near key park entrances:

Route 27 – Travels between Arts Center and Lenox Mall stations, with stops on 14th Street and Piedmont Avenue, just a short walk from the 14th Street entrance.

Route 36 – Connects Midtown and Decatur stations, stopping near the Charles Allen entrance, offering easy access to the park.

Route 809 – Runs between Lindbergh and King Memorial stations, stopping near the BeltLine entrance on 10th Street and at Ansley Mall.

Plan Ahead: While these routes currently run every 40-45 minutes, checking schedules in advance can help ensure a smooth trip.

Parking Garage

The parking garage is in the center of the park, and is great for visitors, especially those on their first visit. The Park shares a parking deck with the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the rate is typically based on the amount of time you spend in the park. Please note, this is a cashless parking garage. Please be prepared to pay with a credit or debit card. Piedmont Park access is on the lowest floor.

The garage is just beyond the intersection of Monroe Drive & Worchester Dr. NE. The park is accessed from the lowest floor. The first 30 minutes are free.

Visiting the Piedmont Park Conservancy Offices?

The parking garage is directly next to the administrative offices. When exiting the parking garage, the offices will be on the right. Go to the furthest door to reach the front desk. Magnolia Hall will be directly across.
