Adopt-a-Bench
A New Way to Honor and Reflect in Piedmont Park!
Introducing the Adopt-a-Bench Program — a meaningful opportunity to celebrate someone special or mark a milestone while supporting the beauty and care of Piedmont Park.
For a $5,000 contribution, you can adopt an existing park bench for five years, adding a personalized plaque to create a lasting tribute enjoyed by millions of visitors. At the end of the adoption period, your plaque will be carefully removed and presented to you as a keepsake, allowing your story to continue beyond the park.
This program offers a limited number of benches throughout Piedmont Park, providing an accessible and heartfelt way to connect your legacy to Atlanta’s green heart.
Please note that benches without plaques cannot be moved to different locations and allow up to four weeks for plaque installation following confirmation.
Benches

Our team will work with you to find a special location in the park that reflects your vision. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preference based on availability.
Bench with Plaque – $10,000
A personalized plaque on a bench provides a welcoming place for reflection and community connection. We’ll guide you through wording options.
- Bench dedications are available for a 10-year term beginning January 1, 2026, creating a lasting tribute for visitors to enjoy while supporting Park’s ongoing care and restoration.
- Please allow up to three months for bench installation following confirmation.
Trees
A living tribute that grows stronger each year, symbolizing resilience and legacy. Tree dedications last for the natural lifespan of the tree, allowing your gift to flourish for generations.
- Hardwood Tree – $2,000
A living tribute that grows stronger each year, symbolizing resilience and legacy. - Flowering Tree – $1,500
A seasonal reminder of renewal, beauty, and celebration.
The timing of tree plantings is determined by favorable weather and soil conditions to ensure healthy growth.
Signage is not available for tree dedications.
