Landmark Luncheon Seeds for the Future

Join us at the 28th Annual Landmark Luncheon as we unveil and celebrate the launch of Seeds for the Future, a multi-year campaign focused on protecting, maintaining, and expanding the beloved tree canopy in Atlanta’s most cherished greenspace. This effort responds directly to the community’s call for better care of our trees and natural areas during the Park’s comprehensive planning process.

Your support helps fund the proactive care of over 3,000 mature trees, planting of hundreds of new ones, and ensures long-term sustainability through innovative tree management, education, and community engagement. Trees are essential—they provide shade, clean air, wildlife habitat, and emotional well-being to millions who visit the Park each year. As climate challenges grow, the time to invest in our urban forest is now.

But this campaign is about more than just planting trees. Seeds for the Future includes a public tree inventory and app, curriculum development for youth education, and a volunteer stewardship program. We’re partnering with Trees Atlanta and the City of Atlanta to ensure each tree receives thoughtful care—from planting to long-term monitoring. Through this campaign, Piedmont Park can lead the way in modeling proactive urban forestry in public parks.

Give today and help us protect and grow the Park’s lush tree canopy for future generations. Every gift helps us plant the roots for a stronger, healthier, greener future.
